Manage Quit Smoking Cravings With Herbs!

The biggest barrier to people trying to quit smoking is that they have become physically dependent upon the nicotine in the cigarettes. Smoking affects, in conjunction with others parts of the body, the parts of the brain that relates to pleasure and reward.

The nature of nicotin is that it creates a cycle in the brain that maken the smoker want more. Scientsits have found that when you stop smoking it produces the same effect on the brain that is caused by cocaine withdrawl. Hence depression and anxiety are a common side effect.

Nowadays modern herbalists have applied traditional herbal knowledge to a modern problem. Nowing that opium withdrawl can be treated by common garden variety of oats, the herbalists took an oat tincture (an alcoholic extract) and treated nicotine withdrawl and achieved significant results.

During one specific test a group of smokers were given the oat tincture and another group were given a placebo. The group treated  with the tincture, smoked less and continued to do so for 2 months after the stopped the herbal tretment.  It has been defined that the oat based supplement creates a feeling of wellbeing therefore replacing that feeling created by nicotine.
